Adding and Managing Tasks - iOS

If you're an iOS user and haven't downloaded the Zendesk Sell mobile app, head over to the App Store to install the app on your mobile device to get started with managing your Lead, Contacts, and Deals on the go!

Create Tasks to create action items, follow-ups or reminders. When you create a Task, you can associate it to a specific Lead, Contact, or Deal for context. Tasks can be created with or without a due date and alerts, so you can prioritize your activities and stay on top of your most important action items.

Tasks are represented in the mobile app by the checkbox icon.


Today (Dashboard)

On your Today page, there is a Tasks section to view all your Tasks, regardless of their associated Lead, Contact or Deal. Here you can track all your Tasks in one place, filter by object association and due dates, or add a Task.

You can also add a Task from the Today page using the Global Add + button at the top right.


Tasks on Leads, Contacts, and Deals

Tasks can be related to a Lead, Contact, or Deal to provide context and more information. When creating a Task from the Today page via the Global Add or the Tasks section, you can select which Lead, Contact, or Deal the Task is related to. When creating a Task directly from a Lead, Contact, or Deal card, the Task will be automatically associated to that card.

Navigate to the Lead, Contact, or Deal you'd like to create a Task for. Click on the checkbox icon to take you to the Tasks section, then click on the + icon to add a Task.

Add Task content, set a due date (if preferred), and set an alert (if preferred). 

To mark a Task as complete, simply tap the circle to the left of the Task.
