How can I Search my Leads, Contacts, Deals, Notes, and Tasks?

We're glad you asked that because we have created the most awesome search functionality on this planet (well... in the top 5 for sure!). 

Searching for any piece of data on Zendesk Sell is lightning fast: 

Fire up the search panel on Sell just by typing text on the search field on the top right part of the screen.

Your result will show up instantly. You can filter them by using the categories to chose between deals, contacts, notes, tasks, and emails.

To make things even easier, we're letting you narrow down the results as you go – the more search terms you type in, the closer the matches will be. And while we're searching across all the data in your account (including your custom fields), if you look for a particular contact or a deal, then typing their name will bring that as the first result, giving you the data you need, right at your fingertips. 

And if you're looking for a contact (or lead), you can use the local search box right at the top of the list. 

Apart from giving you the results for your query (and this search works across all the data, as well), this feature gives you the ability to sort the results exactly the way you'd like, just like the full list.
