Exporting a Smart List

Creating a Smart List enables you to filter, sort, and export your data into a customizable report from Zendesk Sell.

Smart List exports are not available on the Team Plan. You must either be an admin or granted admin rights to use the export feature.

To export your Smart List

  1. Navigate to the Smart List tab under Leads, Contacts, or Deals.
  2. Create a Smart List.
  3. Select Actions.
  4. Select Export.

You'll get a notification when a Smart List has been exported. If you have email notifications turned on, you'll also receive an email when the export is complete.

Where can I find my exported Smart List?

To download your exported Smart List, click the email notification or export notification that appears in Sell. You can also download previously exported Smart Lists in your Export Settings.

Why don’t I have the option to export?

If you don’t see the option to export in Sell, the Admin on your account will need to grant this permission by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to the Settings menu.
  2. Select Export.
  3. Select Export Options.
  4. Click on the dropdown menu to enable Smart List exports and select All Users.
