Changing the tags of a Lead, Contact or Deal in Base is just a few clicks away. You can do it by editing a record's card.
HOW TO ADD OR REMOVE A TAG
If you want to edit tags of for example a Deal go to the Deal's page and click the Edit button. You will be able to edit the details of a Deal, including the tags assigned to it.
Clicking in the Tags field will enable you to add tags, create new tags by typing them in, or to remove existing tags from the Deal by clicking the "x" next to the relevant tag's name.
HOW TO ADD TAGS IN BULK
You can also add Tags in bulk to a Deal from the main Deals view. To do so, simply select the Deal (or Deals) you'd like to apply Tags to, then click the Tag icon.
Any Tags already applied will show up at the top - you can apply more Tags by clicking on them or remove Tags by unmatching the ones currently applied.
WHY CAN'T I DELETE TAGS FROM A LEAD, CONTACT OR DEAL?
You may notice that you are unable to delete tags from your account - no Edit or Delete button appears next to these tags.
This is due to your account permission settings. If you're User Level on your account, you will be unable to delete Manager or Admin data from Base, including tags created by those users. You'll need to have those Tags deleted by a Manager or an Admin, or have your permissions upgraded to Manager or Admin level.
