Using PieSync with Zendesk Sell

PieSync gives you the ability to keep your Zendesk Sell contacts in sync with many third-party services.  This not only expands your integration possibilities with Sell, it ultimately makes your daily workflow much easier knowing that contact changes are always up to date!

 

Getting Started

First, create a PieSync account by clicking here.  Once you're set up, you'll be able to connect with Sell by logging into your Sell account through PieSync.

How do I know which Contacts will Sync?

By default, PieSync will sync any Zendesk Sell contact found in your account including Person AND Company contacts.

[IF] Supported Conditions/Filters

 You can choose to have PieSync only sync a subset of these contacts:

  • HAS / DOES NOT HAVE TAG
  • CUSTOMER STATUS (non customer, current customer, past customer)
  • (NOT) OWNED BY (ME)
  • PROSPECT STATUS (non prospect, prospect, lost prospect)
  • PERSON / COMPANY CONTACT
  • a filter on FIELDS

[THEN] Supported Actions

When you are syncing contacts back into Zendesk Sell, you can choose to have specific actions take place:

  • ADD/REMOVE TAG
  • update CONTACT FIELDS

   

Customizable Field Mapping

For now, PieSync doesn't support Zendesk Sell custom contact fields. Therefore, you can only custom map any additional standard fields that aren't included in the default mapping yet. Bear in mind a mapping between two fields can only exist if the types of fields are compatible, and the particular compatibility will determine the direction of the mapping as well.
