Due to local regulations, some phone numbers require a verified identity document confirming the address of residence, to prove that your residence corresponds with your phonenumber location.
If your phone number requires verification, open the Zendesk Sell Settings and click on Voice and Text. Select the Verification tab and upload the required documents.
What type of identification is required for an individual? For a business?
If the end user is a company, they must provide a company identification document, i.e. excerpts from the trade register or a company's founding documents. This document must contain the company's registration address. In addition, the name and VAT code (see question below for details) of the business must also be provided.
If the end user is an individual, they must provide a valid, government-issued photo identification (passport, national ID card, driver’s license). This document must contain the person's address.
